Hi!

I'm Lowell Scott.

I fix things. I break things. I make things that shouldn’t work, work anyway.
Sometimes it’s code. Sometimes it’s metal or wood. Sometimes it’s whatever part of me still wants to try.

This site’s where I put the stuff I don’t want to forget, and maybe some of it’s worth sharing.

What I Do

  • I run machines: laser engraver, 3D printer, CNC, embroidery, and whatever else I can bolt down. When the depression lets me.
  • I build tools. Some are physical, some are digital, some are ideas.
  • I mess with tech: local servers, Linux, voice synthesis, and DIY infrastructure. Can't help myself.
  • I occasionally say something that sounds like a koan and might actually be one. Also something I can't help myself with lol

What This Site Is (and Isn’t)

This is a working space.
It’s notes, experiments, fragments, sometimes half-broken on purpose.

It’s not a brand. It’s not a pitch. It’s not polished.
If you want something clean, go outside. Rain scrubs everything.
